What is Nau Devi Yatra ?

This sacred yatra takes you to nine Shaktipeeths of Goddess Durga. This Yatra usually takes place in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu region, where nine temples dedicated to various incarnations of Goddess Durga are located. These are the temples:

Note: AC will not run in hills and standing mode. The prices include round trip Volvo tickets from Delhi, hotels on twin sharing, breakfast and dinner, and private vehicle with driver. Prices may vary with extra services.

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01

Delhi - Mansa Devi - Chandigarh

Description

Your tour begins from Delhi. Drive to Chandigarh, which takes about 5–6 hours. On the way, stop at Mata Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula. This temple is dedicated to Maa Manasa, the goddess of wishes. After darshan, continue to Chandigarh. Check-in at your hotel, enjoy lunch, and visit some local attractions. Stay overnight in Chandigarh.

Day 02

Chandigarh - Naina Devi - Chintpurni - Palampur

Description

After breakfast, head towards Shri Naina Devi Temple in Bilaspur, located on a hilltop. You can reach by stairs or cable car. After darshan, visit Chintpurni Devi Temple in Una district and then Sheetla Devi Temple. On your way to Palampur, stop at Bagulamukhi Temple. Reach Palampur by evening and stay overnight in a comfortable hotel.

Day 03

Jwala Ji - Kangra Devi - Dharamsala

Description

After breakfast, visit Maa Jwala Devi Temple, known for its eternal flame. Then head to Kangra Devi Temple (also known as Brajeshwari Temple) and Bagulamukhi Devi Temple, one of the oldest temples in the area. Later, drive to Dharamshala. Check in at your hotel and rest overnight.

Day 04

Dharamshala - Chamunda Devi

Description

Enjoy beautiful Dharamshala today. Begin with darshan at Chamunda Devi Temple, which is also called Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham. Later, go sightseeing in Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. Visit the Dalai Lama Monastery, Bhagsu Nag Temple, Cricket Stadium, and Naddi Viewpoint. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05

Dharamshala - Katra - Vaishno Devi

Description

After breakfast, drive to Katra, which will take about 6–7 hours (192 km). Check in at the hotel in Katra. You can start your Vaishno Devi Yatra the same day if you wish, or rest and start next morning.

Day 06

Katra to Vaishno Devi Shrine

Description

Early morning, begin your trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine, located in the Trikuta Hills of Jammu. This temple is one of the most visited and respected pilgrim places in India. After darshan and blessings, trek back to Katra and relax at your hotel.

Day 07

Katra - Amritsar

Description

Today, drive to Amritsar (209 km, about 4–5 hours). On arrival, visit the Golden Temple, which is the holiest site for Sikhs and a symbol of unity and peace. Also, see Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiyana Temple, and enjoy the evening ceremony at Wagah Border. Overnight stay at a hotel in Amritsar.

Day 08

Amritsar - Delhi

Description

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi (456 km, about 7–8 hours). On the way, stop at a famous Dhaba in Sonipat for a delicious meal.

Cancellation Info

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
48 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund

Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).

For the Christmas, New year or any peak season, the payment is non-refundable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
