• Drive to Darjeeling (3–4 Hours)
• Let's be honest. Google will say 2.5 hours. Reality? 3.5 hours minimum. The Rohini or Pankhabari roads slowly climbs through: Tea gardens, Small hill towns, Curves that don't end. We recommend taking Rohini route for early arrival.
• Midway stop at Kurseong. Tea break. Washroom. Stretch. Then the final stretch. Cooler air. Pine smell. Narrow roads.
• Hotel Check-in (Around 2–3 PM)
• You reach Darjeeling. Not a flat city. Expect slopes. Stairs. Views. Check-in. Freshen up. Lunch is not included, but your driver will suggest good places.
• Evening: Free Time (Important)
• Don't rush today. Seriously. After a mountain drive, your body needs to adjust. Options:
• Walk at Mall Road
• Visit Chowrasta
• Sit in a cafe
• Or just stay in hotel with tea
