The Chardham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage circuit located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, comprising four revered Hindu shrines: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. This spiritual journey takes devotees through the majestic Himalayas and offers a blend of adventure, devotion, and scenic beauty.

Day-wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (210 km / 7-8 hrs)

Drive via Mussoorie. En-route visit Kempty Falls. Check-in at Barkot hotel.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 km drive + 6 km trek)

Drive to Janki Chatti, then trek to Yamunotri temple. After darshan, return to Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km each way)

Drive to Gangotri for temple darshan. Return to Uttarkashi in the evening.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

Long drive via scenic mountain roads. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (Drive + Helicopter/Trek)

Travel to Kedarnath base camp (by helicopter or trek). Visit Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi

Return journey from Kedarnath to Guptkashi. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath (190 km / 7 hrs)

Drive to Badrinath. Evening darshan and visit to Mana Village (First village before Tibet border).

Day 09: Badrinath – Haridwar (325 km / 12 hrs)

Morning visit to temple. Later, drive to Haridwar and drop at Haridwar.
