Day 1: Arrival & Evening Ganga Aarti

Morning/Afternoon:

Arrival in Varanasi and hotel check-in. After some rest, begin your exploration with a guided walk through the old city’s narrow lanes filled with shrines, incense, and local life.

Visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Feel the spiritual energy as pilgrims gather for darshan.

Continue to the riverfront and explore the iconic ghats of Varanasi. Learn about the significance of Manikarnika Ghat, one of the most sacred cremation grounds in Hindu tradition.

Evening:

Witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Priests perform synchronized rituals with lamps, chants, and incense as hundreds gather to pay homage to the sacred Ganges. The atmosphere is truly unforgettable.

Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2: Sunrise Boat Ride & Sarnath Excursion

Early Morning:

Enjoy a serene sunrise boat ride on the Ganges River. Watch the city awaken as pilgrims perform morning prayers along the ghats — a deeply moving and photogenic experience.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Late Morning – Excursion to Sarnath:

Visit Sarnath, a major Buddhist pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. Explore ancient ruins, stupas, and monasteries, and visit the museum (closed on Fridays).

Afternoon:

Return to Varanasi for free time to explore local markets famous for silk sarees, handicrafts, and spiritual souvenirs.
