Dwarka is a town located along the western coast of Gujarat; it is more than a town; it is a story, a legend and a place of worship at the same time. Dwarka, the supposed original residence of Lord Krishna has b een visited by dharma followers, travellers, and the inquisitive over the centuries. When you are on this holy turf everything appears changed, you feel awe, about the past of Krishna, and you hear the bells ringing in the temples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was aware that I would visit Gujarat at a gradual rate when I was planning on visiting Dwarka. Bus tours can also be directed with a schedule, and most of the travelers use Bus Booking<\/a> facilities, nevertheless, I employed a car at Gujarat to see around and drive in the middle of nowhere. 1. Dwarkadhish Temple<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dwarka is inundated with the history and architecture of Dwarkadhish Temple, which is known by its alternative name, Jagat Mandir. This 5 level construction was constructed over 2,200 years earlier and was renovated between the 15 th and 16 th century. It lies on the shores of the Gomti river, it has gorgeous carvings, 72 pillars of support, and spire topped by a flag, which is hoisted 4 times daily. Devbhumidwarka<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Rukmini Devi Temple<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This temple is situated approximately 2 km away in Dwarka and is dedicated to the principal wife of Krishna- Rukmini. It has notable works of 12 th century sculpture and a marble deity exemplifying historical craftsmanship and an interesting religious legend of its atypical origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a temple of lord Shiva that is situated on the outskirts of Dwarka with the Arabian sea as its counterpart. It has a fascinating sunset and a view of the Arabian Sea with rivers Gomti and Ganga emptying into the sea which is the most beautiful part of Dwarka, needless to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Dwarka Beach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dwarka Beach, an unspoiled stretch of sand bordering the Arabian Sea, is a a serene location typically frequented by both residents and travelers for a range of purposes such as evening strolls, leisure, and to observe the sunset over the horizon.
